Flower Curtain Holder

Living next to kindergarten was my dream when I was a child. The only reason was I can pop up at school right at the time when school's bell ringing.  After 23 years later my dream comes true. We live next to my daughter's kindergarten which means I walked less than 10 steps to reach her school lol!

So lucky that I don't have to wake up early and cycling to drop her at school. If I forgot to put her cup or towel in her bag, I can pass it easily to her and the most favorite part is I can wave my hand to her whenever I want through our window :D. Then another problem came up, most of her friends would calling me whenever they see me. I feel bad about it because my appearance will distract their attention to the teacher.

I decide to make a curtain holder rather than buy another sheer fabric as a curtain because I plan to spend less money as possible. And I can use some materials from my previous crafting project.

Step by step tutorial

Sorry if i made a mini size and less details in the tutorial, because some materials were ran out.

Bunny Crochet Hat

It's my last year winter project and it was my first time to crochet a hat. Although it was warm and comfy but i'm not satisfied with the look.

A Newcomer in My Closet

Vest crochet for myself, yeay! I like to wear a different kind of vest because it can spice up my plain t-shirt. For this project i used approximately 4 skeins of yarns and one skein of brown yarn for edging. And for the crochet pattern i got it free from here.

Summer Crochet for Girl

I still remembered how stressful to make this super simple and easy crochet pattern two years ago. This was my first time crochet project supervised by an experienced teacher. She taught me how to read a crochet pattern, and how to manipulate it if you had made a mistake.

I made so many stitches mistakes in this project and i pretend nothing had happened ;p. Until i realized i used a different size of yarn and hook from the pattern guide. As the result, my vest size were smaller than it has to. So i tried to manipulate it by adding fan stitches on each side. Get free pattern here

I decide to make a simple bag as a gift to my friend who gonna leave Japan soon. Then i found this link as my pattern guide.

monkey See monkey Do

One of my new routine on Monday morning are walking around Komagawa shōtengai. Shotengai is a style of Japanese local market and often connect to the nearest train station or near to residence area.
The size is quite smaller if it's compare to famous shotengai like Shinsaibashi suji in Namba area. But this shōtengai is almost busy everyday and it's very convenient to shop or just browsing.
In this lovely shōtengai i found a pair of knee length sock and a matched colors of yarns. I was thinking to make a handmade gift for my friend's upcoming baby boy.

With some monkey magic tricks and spells, then voilà ...
